The Newest Double Digit Midget

I can't believe she's 10.  As in no longer single digits.  Never again in her life will she be single digits.  Doesn't that take your breath away?  No?  It does mine!  Maybe because I'm her mom.  All I can see is the adorable baby girl who looked just like her brother when she was born.  The resemblance was uncanny.

I think she had a wonderful birthday.  It was very low key.  Logan was away at Student Life camp.  Michael had the day off .  That really excited her.  It rained most of the day too.  We hung around the house for most of the day.  We went to Petco to buy a new pump to fix up her turtle's tank.  We went to church , of course.  My children don't miss church for anything. Then we topped it off with half price shakes at the newly reopened Sonic.

In honor of her birthday, I want to share what she wants to be when she grows up. She wants to have 2 cats and long hair too.   Here's her list in order of preference.  I big puffy heart this sweet girl!

  1. An artist
  2. A singer
  3. A professional ballerina

  3. That is a huge milestone. I remember when my older daughter turned 10, and I had the same exact thoughts as you about her age being a single digit again.
