Free School Supplies!

I love the back to school sales!  They excite me more than the children, I suspect.  Madison does get the most excited out of the children as it means new art supplies for her artistic soul.  Anyway, new school supplies excite me but FREE school supplies make me absolutely giddy!

I am unabashedly a couponer.  Not one of those crazy ones that stockpile 1000 tubes of toothpaste in their garage.  But if I can get supplies that we use cheap using coupons and sales then I'm going to do just that.  It's called being a good steward of the money God gave me.  I'm going to attempt to share how to get school supplies Free or cheap.  Unfortunately , this will only work for my USA friends.  Sorry.

Let's start with the pens.  

Go to the Target website .  Print the Papermate coupon and the Scotch tape coupon.  The Papermate pens are $1 and the coupon is $1 off one.  Free pens.

Scotch tape coupon is 50 cents off one roll making it super free or cheap.  Think Christmas here.

While you are at Target , get crayons.  The sale this week (8/5-8/11) is buy one Rose Art marker or colored pencil get a 24 pack of crayons free.  The markers and colored pencils are 49 cents each .  Without coupons, you would get 2 packs of markers or colored pencils and 2 packs of crayons for  $1.  If you happen to have the SmartSource coupon insert from the 7/29/11 newspaper, there was a Rose Art coupon for $1 off 3.  Here's the scenario for that:

               Buy 2 markers  $.98

               Get 2 crayons FREE

              Total: $.98

               Use $1 off 3 Rose Art items coupon from 7/29 SS

               New Total:  FREE

Don't need crayons, markers or colored pencils but have the coupons?  They have 2 packs of glue sticks for 25 cents.  Here's what that scenario would look like:

           4 packs of 2pk glue sticks $1.00

            Minus $1 off 3 coupon

            New Total: FREE

On to the highlighters and Bic pens  You have to go to Walgreens for this deal.

                     1 Package of Bic pens 49 cents with in ad coupon.

                      Get 2 packages  $.98

                     Use $1 off 2 coupon from 7/29 SS  OR 

                     Print from the Bic Facebook page  ( print then hit back 2xs then print again for 2 coupons) OR        

                     Check out the coupon database at Couponing to Disney 

                     New Total: FREE 

You can also price match at Wal-Mart.  I hate Wal-Mart and would rather die than go in there but I feel you should know you could go there too.  :)
