For our first reviews, we had to pick from a list of FREE blog planners. Who knew there were such things as blog planners and that they would be FREE. Seriously, FREE! You know FREE is my love language. Anyway, I picked the one from Jolanthe at Homeschool Creations. This girl rocks in everything she does. When I grow up, I want to be a real blogger like her. Naturally. it made sense to pick a blog planner that she uses herself.
I printed it out mostly. I didn't print out all the monthly sheets. I wanted to try it out before I invested all that ink . Cheap is my middle name. I printed out 3 months worth then 3 hole punched it and slapped it in a binder.
I liked being able to jot down some blog post ideas for a whole month. This enabled me to see if I was spending a lot of time talking about autism, homeschooling or family. I had several ideas swirling through my head that I was able to jot down before I forgot them. I love that she has a place to track stats each week to remind me to do that. She also has spots for you to write daily things to do for your blog. This is a great way to remind me to go to work.
I hope to take my blog to a new level this year. More professional but maintain the cozy atmosphere. This planner will definitely help me to keep track and be more efficient in my work time. Because, let's face it, there isn't a whole lot of work time some days. If you have a blog, I encourage you to go check it out. Did I mention it's FREE?
I may have to borrow some of Jolanthe's pages to go with the planner I chose. Since I sketched out some themes using the planner I chose, ideas have begun swirling in my head. ;)
ReplyDeleteOh, I never thought about merging them! What a great idea!
